Run the day
Once bookings start coming in, /app/reservations is where you run the day: one scrolling timeline of everything booked for a venue-local day, not split into per-person columns.
The timeline
Section titled “The timeline”Every booking for the day appears as a card, in time order: the time, the guest’s name (or Walk-in when none was given), the service, the person or resource, and which visit this is for a returning guest. Use the filter pills above the timeline to scope the list to one person — the pill counts show how many bookings each person has today. The Now line just below shows how many guests are currently in a chair and how many are waiting.
Use the day arrows next to the date to move to the day before or after; the screen always opens on today.
Stays at a place
Section titled “Stays at a place”At a place venue, a stay appears on every day it covers. On its check-in day it’s one card reading, for example, check-in 16:00 · check-out Sat 12:00, with the number of guests. On each later day it’s a continuation card, staying · checks out Sat 12:00. The nights in between never show as free time. A stay that is still waiting for your confirmation on its check-in day shows Gate code not sent — it goes only to a confirmed stay. Confirm it and the code goes out on the next run.
A place is booked as a stay from its booking page, so a place venue has no + Walk-in button. A hall’s requests are answered here too, with Approve, Counter or Decline. See Places, stays and halls.
Claiming from a security deposit
Section titled “Claiming from a security deposit”For 48 hours after a stay’s check-out, Today lists it under Security deposits with the amount and the time the window closes. To keep part of it for damage, enter the Amount to keep and What for, then tap Keep this and refund the rest. The rest goes back to the guest straight away. If you don’t claim, the whole security deposit is refunded automatically when the 48 hours end.
When Qaema can’t send the money back itself, because the guest paid by bank transfer or because the refund kept failing for a week, the stay shows Return the security deposit to the guest. Return it yourself, then tap I returned it.
Walk-ins
Section titled “Walk-ins”Tap + Walk-in to add someone who showed up without booking online. Pick a service, a person (or anyone), and a time — the name and phone are both optional for a walk-in, unlike an online booking. Tapping Add on a free-slot card in the timeline does the same thing, prefilled with that person and time.
Arrived, in chair, done
Section titled “Arrived, in chair, done”A booking moves forward with the buttons on its card: Arrived when the guest shows up, Start to move them into the chair, Done to check them out. If the booking changed somewhere else — another tab, an agent, a second phone at the counter — the button refuses the update and the screen refreshes with the current state, so you never act on stale information.
No-shows and cancellations
Section titled “No-shows and cancellations”Cancel is always available on a booking that hasn’t started. No-show appears once enough time has passed after the booking’s start that it’s fair to call it a no-show — it isn’t offered the moment the clock hits the booking time. A booking that hasn’t heard back from its confirmation reminder is flagged in amber with no reply to reminder and a Call button that dials the guest directly.
Prayer pauses
Section titled “Prayer pauses”When prayer pauses are turned on in Setup, each one appears as a labelled divider in the timeline at its place in the day — no booking can start inside one.
Staff view
Section titled “Staff view”A staff member who is also a bookable person only sees their own timeline: the filter pills are hidden, and the board is already scoped to their chair. Owners and managers see everyone and can switch between them with the pills.
